These high top sneakers were commissioned by Erick Moyal, who for three years has dedicated his time and effort to raising funds and awareness for Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CPRS), and gave a 2020 TEDx talk about how to be a better ally to people with chronic illnesses.
Featuring the logo of the Ride for Warriors event that benefits CPRS research, Moyal's Nike Blazers were hand painted in orange with crisp stripes of sky blue and white.
Erick Moyal serves on the Board of Directors and chairs the Communications Committee of the Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome Association (RDDSA). RDDSA's mission is to provide support, education, and hope to all affected by the pain and disability of CRPS/RSD, while they drive research to develop better treatments and a cure.
