Two pairs of cleats were designed for Erick Mejia, Dominican professional baseball infielder and outfielder in the Seattle Mariners organization. Erick has also played in major league baseball for the Kansas City Royals.
The first pair were Adidas Icon 6 cleats designed around the Dominican Republic's involvement in the 2021 Tokyo Summer Olympics. Handpainted in blue, red and white, the cleats feature the DR flag, the Olympics baseball logo, and the text "Republica Dominicana" and "Higuerano Soy."
Erick's pair of Adidas Adizero Afterburner 8's were designed around the Dominican pro baseball team Tigres del Licey. With a white, orange and royal blue color scheme, the cleats feature the team name, paw prints, and the team logo.
